Hi, For the migration you have mentioned: a) You will need to provide us access to your CRM 2011 instance - you will need to share the User credentials (of a User who can read / access all information in this instance) b) You will need to provide us access to your CRM 2013 instance - with a User credential that can read/write data to this instance. c) We will re-create the Custom Entities that you may have in CRM 2011 - please note, before starting the project, you will need to give us all information regarding such customizations d) We shall use the credentials in (a) to connect to your CRM 2011 instance and import the data in to CRM 2013 instance e) Our interaction can be via Skype (krajeshmenon is my Skype id). We have been engaged in providing solutions / configuring MS-CRM systems right back from Version 3.0; we have very fair experience in migrating data from different versions of MS-CRM, and also own a Backup/Restore product for use with CRM 4.0/2011/2013. Yes backup will be helpful else would require remote connection in order to export data How will we communicate ( perhaps through Skype? ) about the process of migration? Skype Sidenote : Our CRM server has some small customizations that also need migration , or redoing from scratch. Is there any specific details that we should know about that process? If there is a documentation created for these customizations it will be great else CRM 2011 has an option to Export solutions But in order to check the whether the customization has been properly working on new environment a documentation will be helpful
