1st web interface options:

Input fields for each tuner (Transponder scan)

1-The frequency.

2- polarization

3- the symbol rate (srate)

4-Code rate .( 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8)

Now after entering these fields the server should scan, and show me the received channels.

For example: if my dish antenna receiving from Atlantic Bird 7A , I will enter :

Frequency: [url removed, login to view] Polarization: H /symbol rate: 27500 /Code rate:3/4

After the server scans the transponder it should receive these channels and show me:

1-Al Jazeera Satellite Channel (with its IP , port streaming protocol)

2- Al Jazeera English (with its IP , port streaming protocol)

3-Al Jazeera Children´s Channel (with its IP , port streaming protocol)

4-Qatar TV (with its IP , port streaming protocol)

5- Al Jazeera Documentary (with its IP , port streaming protocol)

I will install one DVB card with 1 tuner in each server (TBS6981 PCI-E DVB-S2 Dual Tuner TV card), so I can receive 2 transponders. The server will be i7 Quad core,8m ram.

2nd web interface options:

Transcoding the received channels.

Now after receiving the channels I want to Transcode it to [url removed, login to view] format to reduce its bandwidth and send it to my streaming server via internet (CDN).

I found a nice transcoder on internet I tried it but it’s not fast enough, but I like how its looks like and the options also

You can see it, I want the same idea,

I want to choose each channel and chose the stream protocol (Unicast), encoding type, IP and port destination address. (You can add the entire feature available)

This is the main feature I want to develop, most of these features are already in Mumudvb, and also you can use Dvblast, ffmpeg and x264.

As I mention before i don’t know anything in Linux, so I need easy script for installing and steps.( Like elastix PBX ,for example)

So, each server will receive and transcode as much channels it can, and I want the server to be stable. I think it can handle 15-20 channels with (i7,8M), but not sure.

3rd option is Monitoring,

I want to monitor each processer and ram usage, network usage, each channel bandwidth, and status, etc. (You can use Monit to monitor MuMuDVB) ,You can add all the monitoring option what you can.

i will pay 200US$ upon start and 250US$ when you finished dvb-gateway (1st stage ). And 300US$ after finished the transcoding (2nd stage). The total amount is 750 US$, and the time to finish the project is 25 days.
