We had communication some time ago & I appreciated your work.
I was wanting to know if you would be interested in a small "File Management" job.
My website "www.efficienttrade.co.nz" is up & running, but I am encountering a couple of minor problems.
1.) I keep receiving a message stating:
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
Your hostname ([url removed, login to view]) could not be resolved
to an IP address. This means that /etc/hosts is not set up
correctly, and/or there is no dns entry for
efficienttrade.kickassvps.com. Please be sure that the contents of
/etc/hosts are configured correctly, and also that there is a
correct 'A' entry for the domain in the zone file.
Some or all of these problems can be caused by /etc/[url removed, login to view]
being setup incorrectly. Please check that file if you believe
everything else is correct.
You may be able to automatically correct this problem by using the
'Add an A entry for your hostname' option under 'Dns Functions' in
your Web Host Manager.
I moved from "justhost.com" servers some time ago & have since used "kickassvps" servers to host the website. I haven't been using the website lately due to redesigning & planning the business idea to fit into mobile applications & so on....
I just need "you", the admin guru am I correct? :). I call for your help with sorting my messy website backend haha. Need to compact down my folders into a more understandable or portable way....& store any sensitive information separately.
I want to feel confident that the website is secure for the time being & only I have the authority of performing restricted actions. I will then ensure I always have several copies, ensuring no data is lost...perhaps if we can also setup some automatic backup script?
