How to capture the flowrate of a product with a viscosity of 1000 to 1500 cst, moving through a piping or pressure hose of 25 to 32.5 internal diam. I suspect the need of a type of UV laser beam to bounce off the product from 2 directions to measure the movement through the pipe. I have had a few people experiment with this but the high viscosity of the product seems to restrict an accurate reading. I am also asking if you think it is possible to measure.
