Handling Incoming Calls for Clinical Research Studies

Project Description:

Conectys, on behalf of its customer is participating in the patient recruiting process, handles calls from potential patients and run them through a pre-screening script.

• Calls will be forwarded to your landline during Germany business hours (9AM-6PM)

• The average call duration is of 10 Min

• Random test calls will be placed for quality monitoring purposes

• The calls volume depends on the Media Schedule and on the Advertising Channels

• When the study is advertised in the newspapers and on radio, we are expecting maximum 10calls/day

• When TV ads are running the volume might increase to 150-200 calls/day, depending on the Study specifics

• Training will be provided by Conectys staff and is expected to last 5 business days (approximately 3 hours/day). Full remote access to training materials (procedures, video training etc, is included)


• You will be handling incoming calls from potential patients who are interested in enrolling in the clinical research study

• Using a web based platform (script) you will go through the prescreening process with the potential patients and record the details in the script. If prequalified, the patients will be contacted by the study coordinator and go further with the participation in the study

• Place outgoing calls to patients who could not reach an available agent or following a call back request via voicemail

Technical Requirements

• Telephony : Landline (Mandatory)

• Working Space and Environment: an isolated room (office) with no background noise

• Computer: a PC with Internet Access

Professional Skills:

• Language : Native German Speaker and Fluent in English

• Basic Computer and Data Entry Skills, Excellent Communication Skills, Listening Skills, Attention to details


• Revenue : 5 €/Standby Hour , 3.5 €/Handled Call

• Training period paid after the 2nd month of activity (not paid if contract is terminated in the first two months)

• Training is paid at the standby rate fee;
