I am looking to employ someone to help build a client list for my business the Darling Collective. We are looking to recruit small-scale businesses in London, UK who fall into our categories of interest, namely, ‘Classes’, ‘Wellness’, ‘Culture’ and ‘Food’ and need a list of prospects whom we can approach. A full and detailed list of types of business we are looking for will be provided. I have started the list, and presently there are around 500 businesses listed on the database. I would like to increase this by four or five times at least and need someone to scour the internet to source new business contacts in and around London, UK.
What I am looking for:
• Small businesses
• Businesses that provide Services, not products or goods
• Quality businesses
• Unique businesses
• Interesting experiences
What I DO NOT want:
• Businesses that are chains
• Large enterprises
• Well-known brands
• Businesses that appear on my original list
The information I am looking to capture includes:
WEBSITE (where appropriate); CATEGORY (assign to a category in the taxonomy that I provide); CONTACT FIRST NAME (where available); CONTACT SURNAME (where available); JOB TITLE (if available); EMAIL 1 (1 email address essential); EMAIL 2 (if applicable); TELEPHONE 1 (1 telephone number preferable); TELEPHONE 2 (if applicable); ADDRESS 1; ADDRESS 2; ADDRESS 3 (where appropriate); ADDRESS 4 (where appropriate); POSTCODE
While businesses don’t have to be based in London they must service customers who are in London.
I will judge this work not on the number of records that are delivered (although volume is important because it indicates how much work has been done), but rather on the quality of businesses that are found. You will be given a full taxonomy of categories to search under and this should form the basis of your research.
