This project calls for some one that is an expert in the use of Excel. As the successful freelancer will have to use lookup tables.
Below is the project requirements
1) Data will be provided in an excel spreadsheet see sample in the attached file ([url removed, login to view]). A sample of the data is in the column labeled "Raw Data" in ([url removed, login to view]) file.
1.1) In column raw data, organize it as shown in columns B and C. Pls Note, Column B, will not actually be used in this manner. Rather it will simply be the original column that the raw data is/was in but because of the need to properly explain the process this column was created.
1.2) Use data generated by formulas (column E) to determine the code suffix. The code suffix is determined by comparing the "Code" (column E) generated by the internal formulas in the spread sheet with the information in the code suffix document provided. The code suffix is the additional letters etc on the folder that has the code. For example the first line has a code 46226, you will find the folder 46226CF in the code suffix doc so you should type CF in the Code Suffix Column for that record.
2) We have provided a sample of the products list that the data will be associated with. you will create a lookup table scenario that will, based on sku in the products list file to upc in the data-sample file and provide
a) the final code and
b) product description
in the products list file. This information will be placed in columns we create together.
The number of lines of raw data is approx 1500 but alot of the lines are blank and or contain data that will have to be deleted.
