I have over 50 files with the same format and placement of columns & rows in a single folder. The data in all of them starts from A1. From all these files, I would like to get the data in B column with B2 and downwards data. Wherever, the cells in B2 is empty, data has to be taken from the adjacent C column cell. Then, I would like to take that data and place it in the new workbook as separate columns with TWO column space in between the imported columns in the new workbook with data starting from Row 2 onwards. On top of all the new columns taken from each workbook (i.e., in Row 1), I want the name of the file from which each of these columns has been taken. All of these data are basically scrips from Bombay Stock Exchange. Therefore, I want the Change% of all these scrips for that day to be taken from "STOCK" button in Excel 365 and place it in the FIRST Empty Column to the right hand side of the scrips. Then in Row 1 of the "FIRST Empty Column to the right hand side of the scrips", an "Average" function is to be executed to know the avg return from the particular column. Again, in the SECOND Empty Column, for each scrip in each column, I want the (52 week high-Current Price)/(52 Wk Hi) formula in percentage terms. I want the ability to customize the columns and other important factors taken for the data too. For eg, if I want Column D is to be taken instead of B, I should be able to do that.
