I have 6 issues of a newsletter/journal that I would like to have translated into fairly simple but time-consuming HTML framework. In part, this would require to make multiple webpages that successfully link to each ohter. The issues are presently stored in Adobe PDFs, which may require line-by-line cutting and pasting.* Each issue involves about ten 600-1500 word articles.
Many previous iterations of the newsletter are already online and their web address will be provided to the successful bidder.
I was previously the online editor of this journal. The biggest part of the project may be translating certain elements of the print formatting to the web. I had a sometimes precise methodology (htmling in MS Notepad: em-dashes, equal length columns, JPGing and including imeages, etc.)
I would want to initially do one issue with the successful bidder and pay a pro-rated portion of the contract amount for that issue. If I was pleased with the result, we would then do the other issues.
*It may be possible to supply Adobe InDesign versions, if that's preferable.
