We have about 300 text files, some with 5 records and some with 50 records each. Each of these files need to be imported into an excel file so that the data populates the appropriate column. Then once the files have been imported, scan the data to remove duplicates records.
There are about 8000 records total Having done 1000 of the records myself this phase of the project should take about 7 hours.
Cleaning the data. You will then have to sort data and manually delete duplicate records. The auto duplicate tool does not work as cleanly so we prefer you search and remove duplicates manually. This phase should take about 5 hours.
PHASE 3 - Prepare files for Mailing
Save master file, create a copy as the working file. Where you will remove the last name of the records that have names. Should take about 2 hours.
