I build it in Python (httpx + BeautifulSoup, Playwright fallback if Cloudflare challenges the ASN), with retry/backoff and rate limiting so nothing gets dropped, and map everything to match your sample sheet exactly before exporting a clean, editable Excel/CSV. I've built scraping pipelines with anti-bot handling and structured output before, so the messy parts are familiar. One thing that decides the schema: for multi-value fields like Tags, References and image links, do you want them in one delimited cell per profile, or split across separate rows/columns in the sample?

I do a lot of scraping work, and SoldierX's HDB is a pretty standard paginated index with profile subpages. I've already looked at the site structure. The Cloudflare layer is there but the pages are server-rendered HTML, so the data is in the DOM on load. I'd use Playwright with stealth patches (Patchright) to handle the Cloudflare challenge, then walk all 19 index pages, pull every profile link, and hit each subpage to grab Handle, IRL Name, Tags, Bio, Facts, Rumors, References, image URLs and picture count. Output lands in a clean CSV or Excel file matching whatever sample format you share. I've built scraping pipelines that handled way more complex setups than this. Rate limiting, proxy rotation, retry logic for flaky pages, deduplication on the output side. 10+ years doing this kind of work so nothing here is new ground. What you'd get: a single deliverable file with every public record from all 19 pages plus subpages, formatted exactly to your sample.
