I require a professional skilled in Microsoft Excel to create a spreadsheet for a small business. We are a Scaffold company looking to improve efficiency, and minimise errors in dispatching materials to construction sites. We will provide the necessary data to populate the spreadsheet however I believe some basic programming will be required to get the spreadsheet to function the way we want it to.
To clarify this I have outlined a brief scenario which explains our problem.
I have Item A and Item B, Item A is dependant on item B to be installed correctly, sometimes the person drafting the materials list will send out item A and forget to send out item B. This causes a delay in the job being complete until item B can be delivered.
I would like a script which identifies a value for item A, and notifies the data entrant that they have forgotten item B, and if they would like to include a value for item B
I will provide the data required to complete the spreadsheet, i will also provide the dependency relationship between the components.
