I'm working on a large e-commerce project and looking for a full-timer for the next 3-4 weeks.
You'll be working with me and another team member.
1.) Must speak and write clear english.
2.) Must have quality internet connection and computer skills.
3.) Hourly rate only.
4.) Work minimum 8 Hour days, 5 days per week.
5.) Can work longer hours if you desire.
6.) Must be proficient in excel.
7.) Must be familiar with content management systems (Shopify Experience is a Plus+)
8.) Must be Process and Detail Oriented. Mistakes should be minimal.
9.) Must be able to start immediately.
10.) Image manipulation (photoshop / illustrator) skills not required by would be an asset.
11.) Any web marketing / code skills also not required but would be an asset.
You can work during business hours in your time zone or in mine. As long as you meet the project milestones on time.
Your main task will be to assist me in curating inventory for an ecommerce store.
Project Includes, But is Not Limited To:
--Selecting products to fill categories from vendor catalogs. Some products have multiple components. (I'll assign product numbers)
--Modifying / optimize product images and preparing for live website. Follow my image modification process.
--Cataloging every product in an excel spreadsheet to track cost, supplier SKU, URL, etc.
--Entering product details on website including optimized images, alt tags, titles, and urls. NO DESCRIPTION WRITING.
--Enter product attributes (these change depending on the type of product)
product attributes include: weight, dimensions, colors, vendors, product categories, etc.
--Add each product to their appropriate collections
--Update spreadsheet to track progress
You will be required to conform to a structured project plan. I use [url removed, login to view] to manage projects. This project will be fun and engaging for the right person. If you have the desired skill set, lets talk.
I'm willing to train you on the procedure, and any specialized / proprietary processes but do not wish to teach the requested skills. Make sure you have what it takes to navigate an ecommerce content management system quickly, make sure you are good with spreadsheets and data entry, make sure you are detail oriented (obsessively detailed). And, please, be able to communicate in english.
If you want to work 12 hours per day, great, I'll pay for it. I need to assemble a motivated team with complementary skills. I offer a bonus plan in addition to your base wage that is tied to production. Do more work, make more money.

I'll send you an email with 200 product numbers/SKUs, citing the Supplier, and showing you what catalogs to reference, along with image locations, and pricing reference.
You have to follow a simple process for adding those cited products to an inventory spreadsheet and to an ecommerce site.
You'll work with another teammate to optimize, re-size, and rename images.
You'll follow a process to update specific product details on the website. You'll keep me updated on your progress.
You'll complete a checklist for each and every product, ensuring a consistent and systematic approach.
