3D roof analysis with Google Sketchup

We are looking for a SU Plugin or ruby script to get 3D line statistics from a Google Sketchup 3D area dataset of one particular building. 3D models will be coded and free of geometric errors. All results should come with coded views (top-/sideviews or perspective) as well as excel tables with true length in [m] and vertical slope in [°] degree.

We need to classify the lines of the roof areas into following classes:

eaves (lower horizontal border of a sloped roof)

ridge (upper horizontal border of a sloped roof)

roof edge (lower horizontal border of a flat roof)

hip (non horizontal border line between roofs with angle >180°)

valley (non horizontal border line between roofs with angle <180°)

curb (horizontal line where a roof is broken by a pitch to another pitch e.g. mansart)

lead (line where a roof hits a wall)

rake (the slope edge of a roof at the first or last rafter)

A script for ESRI ArcGIS could be offered optional.

Further sample datasets can be sent.
