Create Jasper Studio Scriptlet to Obtain Image from Authenticated URL (ODK Central, Bearer Token in GET header).)

I want to connect to ODK Central's API with Jasper Studio, obtain a bearer token and use this token to process GET requests to populate a report with data from ODK Central. I have been successful in passing the header and obtaining text from the API but attachments (namely images) cannot be retrieved due to Jasper not being able to send a bearer token in the header with a GET request to the image URI for its built-in image element.

I gather a scriptlet in Jasper may need to be written to pass the token in the header and retrieve the image for embedding in the report.
I will provide a URL and credentials to my ODK instance containing test data. The report produced should be able to connect to the API and show the test data on the report preview, including images. I will then use this as a template to produce my own production reports.
It is my intention to deploy these reports to Jasper Server. I do not currently have an instance of this running, so you may need to run your own for testing purposes and to demonstrate that it works.
