Project Description

I use the databases at the Federal Communications Commission which is very developer friendly. I need a way to interface with that data beyond the general search capabilities the FCC makes available to the public. For instance, I need a way to search the FCC database to locate radio stations within a 50 mile radius of a zip code. The UI should be easy to use. The result of this example search would be the display of all radio stations showing their call sign, city of license, and email, address. This is just one example as I will undoubtedly come up with several different applications for use of the data.

Ideally, it would be great if the willing programmer had some familiarity with the FCC' s databases. ( Go to TOOLS, then DEVELOPERS. A complete list of the API' s and available tools are described.
