We are an industrial dining company located in northern Mexico that is looking to implement a system for the management and control of inventories using QR codes. We currently provide service to 5 maquiladoras, in which we prepare breakfast and lunch plates for 1,500 people daily.
Being a company that handles food, the rotation of our inventories is constant and fast, since we provide fresh and high-quality food, the FIFO (First In - Fist Out) system is used to prevent the merchandise that arrived first from spoiling.
The flow of our goods:
The merchandise arrives from our suppliers to the warehouse where we store them and then we become our own suppliers by sending to each of the 5 maquiladoras that we have the raw material necessary for the preparation of the dishes.
What we are looking for is a system in which you can register the inputs of our suppliers and the outputs to each maquiladora to obtain a real inventory at the end of what is available in the central warehouse.
