The important part is that we will be given a crystal of [url removed, login to view] and we need to use the ripple counter to divide the frequency down to 10Hz.

Some parts we are given are a little different to that page.

They are.

HEF4060BP - 14 stage ripple carry binary counter/divider.

HEF4518BP - Dual BCD counter. (Two of these)

MC14543BCP - BCD to 7-segment decoder.

CD4508BE - Dual 4-bit latch.


The other main point is, we are only allowed to use one BCD to seven segment latch decoder chip.
