we're in the process of transcribing the audio of a conference on citizen rights, privacy and liberty in the UK earlier this year and need your help.
You'll be provided with mp3 recordings of five panel discussions of usually one chair plus four guests (names will be provided). These are between 15-45 min in length, in total about 3 1/2 hours. You'll have to transcribe these, attribute to the correct speakers (easily done with the names provided), spell and grammar check where approbiate, and deliver formatted for easy readability (proper paras basically) as Word docs within five days.
There is a mix of accents at work, from RP to posh Brit to immigrant. So you must have a good ear for different UK accents.
Please apply with information on your English language skills and relevant experience. There is also a sample m4a (to get it below 1MB for GFA) attached which you could transcribe if you wanted to give us an idea of what you can do (might be convenient for a new provider).
