You will be developing the electronics/PCBA and firmware. Our product includes the use of a 4-pin 5mm RGB LED wired to a PCB assembly with a microcontroller. The device needs to be approximately 2cm x [url removed, login to view] x 1cm. The power source will be 2 x CR1620 coin cells.
We are wanting to achieve at least 64 colors with pulse speed of at least 1mS.
We will need the colors and pulse speed/pattern of the LEDs to be determined via a PC software that we will provide. With this software, the user will be able to choose the pattern and speed of the flashing as well as the colors that can be downloaded on the device. The device will come with a few preset modes as well. The user will be able to change the modes (presets and custom downloaded ones) via a button.
We are aiming for $2 unit price for the electronics at high volume pricing. With your bid, please provide a suggestion for communicating between the LED device and the PC software (downloading the custom patterns to the device) such as Bluetooth, Infrared sensor to translate data, Wifi, or USB. It needs to fit our small size requirements but still fit our budget.
Please provide examples of relative previous work with your bid and estimated project lead time. Applicant should be able to start on this project within a week.
