Your mission is to design a circuit and PCB layout which will boost the horizontal/vertical LNB switching DC voltages from a non-standard Japanese satellite tuner (9.5~[url removed, login to view] for Vertical & 13.5~[url removed, login to view] for Horizontal) to the standard 13VDC Vertical & 18VDC Horizontal. In other words, the voltage which is input is boosted by approximately 2.5~3VDC.
The tuners have a max output capability of 300mA and power for the circuit should be drawn from the tuner. The design should be capable of handling satellite frequencies of 950 ~ 2150 MHz. The insertion loss (dB) should be minimal. Impedance is 75 Ohm. The unit should be small footprint and will be placed in circuit between the tuner antenna input socket and the antenna itself. It should introduce minimal noise into the system and the connectors will be female F-connector sockets.
