DSP implention/testing/refinement of existing noise reduction algorithm

Hi, we are using a algorithm ,which do noise reduction ,fft,etc ,it's working ok ,however ,it seems the noise reduction not so obivously, it seems to have big background noise.
ok,below are our full requirements :
we are developing hearing aid based on RSL10 ,it has arm coretex m3 mcu and lpdsp32 DSP .we use DSP to do noise reduction ,equalizer,etc
first step is : build a good noise reduction .our DSP is LPDSP32, we have our noise reduction on LPDSP32 ,seems not good enough
we need use LPDSP32 ,if one LPDSP32 not strong enough ,we will have 2 LPDSP32s
