As part of a larger system I need a remote audio streaming device - the "streamer".
The streamer will be self-contained, battery-powered and will stream audio from a microphone, via GSM/3G/4G to a remote point, via the internet, which might be a PC or a mobile device.
The streamer should be capable of sending adjustable audio quality, providing 11kHz and 22kHz and 8 bit and 16 bit settings.
Suitable compression should be applied and this should be of a standard type so as to allow the receiving end to decode and play the audio without the need for custom software.
This project requires a good working knowledge of audio codecs, audio streaming and GSM data transmission technologies.

this can be easily done with few opensource software and raspberry pi. raspberry will run on battery and with a connected dongle it will connect to internet then with the mic we can stream to remote end.
