We have a requirement to convert an audio and control signal from a 3rd party device to make it suitable for our product.
Schematics for the source device are attached (source1/[url removed, login to view]). An interface layout for our product is also attached ([url removed, login to view]) - note: the levels are 5v not [url removed, login to view] as shown on the spec.
Convert two signals of the source device from:
* 1R: 12v output to 5v TTL (suitable for our digital input).
* 4B: Audio/control to line in, line out. Plus take an input from our 5v TTL output that allows us to control the relay attached to the source device.
One side of the PCB should have a terminal screw connector (to connect to the source device), the other side should provide 2 x [url removed, login to view] jacks (line in/line out) plus 2 x connectors compatible with DECA ME030-350 for the digital signals. Presumably the grounds will need connecting as well.
Provide PCB schematics (incl. any documents we will need to have the PCB made in small volumes) + 2 x working samples.
This description is intended to give you a working idea of the requirements. Before the successful candidate starts the work we will describe in detail the application to give a better understanding of the product.
A source device sample can be provided if necessary.
I'm an experienced PCB designer. I've done mixed signal, analog, and digital boards up to 6 layers. Bid includes designing a 2 layer board and building 2 prototype boards.
