We use MailChimp to send a newsletter.
We have a list of concerts at [url removed, login to view] that we want to include in each Mail Chimp newsletter. We *might* also be able to use Mandrill to send the emails. As each email is customized.
The concerts are stored in a WordPress database and each concert is coded with a code that matches a code in the Subscriber database. So we need to either do one of two things.
1. As we send emails we go to the WordPress table and look for concerts with the same code as the subscriber.
2. We use the MailChimp API to pre-populate the concerts in Mail Chimp Merge Fields so that we send the newsletter as normal and it contains the concert information.
