To all lawyers:
I have a dispute of none payment and neglect of contact for work that me and my staff had done. Below is the 3 step build he requested....
- message system
- advanced user account for posting items from front end
- banner system
-Thursday June 9th
I sent a bid for a potential customer to work and complete their project for them.
-Friday June 10th
That potential customer had messaged me and said to get started. However, I eventually found out that I made the mistake of working before retrieving a milestone. He stated that once he see's that my team is capable of doing the task he and his were not that he would upload half the milestone and then the rest accordingly. We agreed to several thousand dollars for the deal as it was very robust but still cheaper then the other bids (not by much).
-Monday June th
I have already fwd him the live links and log-ons on our servers for him to verify that we got the messaging system working so that we could get paid the milestone he promised once it was actively working and functional. The full timeframe of the bid was to be complete in 21 days. I messaged him that we had a minor hiccup in that the creator of this ecommerce site software download had a missing variable to make the message box work correctly and we will msg him when it is found. 5 days later we had completed the message system programming error and sent to the customer to review. He was satisfied. We assumed that he would remember saying he would upload payment at that point so we asked for the next part of the 3 step design build he wanted. Initially when he accepted our bid verbally and via email I asked him for his name so that we may be on more of a professional level. He seemed to ignore that fact and only answer in regards to the project.
-Sunday June 26th
He responded ok(msg system correct and done) and gave us the banner system section of the project to start on.
-Tuesday June 28th
We sent him the admin back end logins and the live link as he requested to logon and also play with the advanced user account for posting items from front end as well.
-Wednesday June 29th
He replied for us to explain what we did so he could verify and stated the following "also, message system is implemented not professional... you have to work more on design and [url removed, login to view] system is ready? how can I see from admin all messages of users?"
-Wednesday June 29th
I replied to ask if he had skype as I felt it would be much smoother and easier to explain and show him remotely as we wanted to always obide by our bid time of 21 days.
-Thursday June 30th
Sent him the finish custom logins and backend etc for the messaging system as he wanted as well as the customers posting ability he wanted.
-Saturday July 2nd
No response to the 2/3 completed project or my skype request
-CURRENT DATE AND TIME:
Still no response or reply. I was wondering if he has dropped out from lack of communication so I clicked on his profile to make sure. Not only has he not responded since Wednesday June 29th but also he has not even logged in and has only been a customer for 1 month.

Again he ignored as if he didn't hear when I only asked for his first name so I do not have his name his profile does not either, im sure freelancer could help out in a lawsuit. I have nothing to go on except for the emails back and forth agreeing and timestamp of the work. If anyone can help me atleast get the money back for 2/3 completion that would be great and please let me know! I have all emails and timestamps I can forward as well as the logins for all work done to verify. Dumb on my part to be lenient once but also I think freelancer needs to protect the businesses and freelancers better with a required milestone or no work done or some type of verified payment for each person that signs up. If you can help and the price is reasonable i'm ready to do this now!
