Multiphase Flow CFD Analysis

A professional and dedicated freelancer required to perform the dynamic 3D CFD analysis of a 3-phase (oil/water/gas/solids) multiphase flow in a horizontal vessel. See attached for illustration.

The project would involve:

*CAD Clean up (3D model of the horizontal multiphase separator is available upon request)

*Pre-Processing / Meshing (Mesh file available upon request)

*Solver (Multi phase for this problem)

*Post Processing

*Report Preparation of results

*Short powerpoint presentation of results (optional, for additional fee)

Please note that as the problem is a mixed fluid flow in multi-phase, an unsteady simulation with Euler-Euler approach may be used to capture dynamic nature of fluid mixing and entrainment process. There is need to accurately capture the interfaces between fluids, normally through VoF or level-set... and for solids, Lagrangian approach for particle tracking. Alternative methods/approach may be used for the attainment of same results.
