Battery tester

This development requires getting the battery condition of a lead-acid and pure acid batteries. It is necessary to use the technique of measuring the internal resistance of the battery.

The electronic circuit has to handle batteries of 6V, 12V and 24V. The purpose of the circuit is to determinate the condition of the battery based on its internal resistance.

The internal resistance changes as the battery ages, then is possible to know the battery condition once you know the internal resistance.

It is necessary to consider:

[url removed, login to view] design has to consider a selector to indicate what kind of battery is going to be used (6V, 12V or 24V).

[url removed, login to view] has to have a display and buttons to ask some other question like: nominal values of the battery (such as: amp/H), and all the questions needed to evaluate what kind of battery was connected to be tester.

[url removed, login to view] is highly preferred to develop this circuit using a microcontroller (PIC) of Microchip series 18F
