I am interested in developing a manufacturable design for a wave pool similar to a FlowRider. Capable bidders will firstly research the presently available technology around the web to understand what wave pools are and how to improve upon the current designs while reducing the building costs of such pools. Secondly, they will make a design that can be modeled successfully and capable of going to manufacturing.
Designs should incorporate rider safety, a system for recycling and cleaning water through the ride (so that the ride can operate on a tank instead of be connected to a running water supply) and provide for variable wave size to challenge different sets of riders. The most important factor in the design should be how to keep costs as low as possible without sacrificing safety or quality.
Qualified bidders will have expertise in FEA and hydrodynamics. Industry expertise is highly desirable as well. Thank you.
