You are required to use proengineer/solidworks to model a case study of a plastic cup, just a normal plastic take away cup and simulate loading and deformation. Justify the simulation results by performing simple experiments using low cost resources.
Part is made up of plastic and small forces should be involved causing large deflection. Create model and use linear static analysis to achieve linear deformation and show loading versus deformation/displacement performance. Use three load cases : 1. Force in one direction 2. Force in a different direction 3. A moment or torque.
After modelling and doing the forces on pro Engineer/Solidworks, you have to write a report based on the same and information about the report is given in the file attached. Also an example of the plastic cup is attached but you can use any plastic cup provided you have an approximate dimensions of it. Make sure you include information such as material, yield strength etc in details.
