We are in the process of developing a knockdown prefab building using components that need to be assembled on site. The width of any one component cannot exceed 900 mm or 3600 mm long. The access to our sites is very tight. We have provided you here with a sketch of the skeletal structure of the studio/ shed and have the following suggestions to make. The roof and the subfloor need to be in three components. Each of these components needs to be assembled on site. So the internal bearers and joists need to be in sections. The perimeter bearer can be 3600 +2450mm ( x 2)
A clever fixing system needs to be developed that is preferably not visible from the outside. All information is provided here in the way of drawings.
The wall system will be developed by us and so will the window and door system. What an innovative mechanical engineer needs to design is a fixing system and a plan of assembly.
Once this is done we need proof of concept in the way of an isometric drawing and a model. This will be an extra cost which will be added on to the project after the isometric drawings have been completed.
