Hello, my name is Shaun Durant and I'm looking for a physicist to examine an idea of mine. It's an unusual method for creating the force needed to drive a piston. It only has 3 moving parts and I'd like to know if this idea is feasible before I go any further. It deals with buoyancy, the curie point of nickel and a slightly weakened magnetic field. (A magnets field strength is reduced 5 - 10 percent when heated to its maximum operating temperature). The idea isn't complicated, it should take less than 30 minutes to examine.
