I have several cost centres that I manage for a company. Each month we receive a report on how the cost centres are reporting. I want to create a "dashboard" view of each of the cost centres, the major parameters using a macro such that when I load a new report into the excel, I can run the dashboard view and it automatically updates with new information, comparing year on year, month on month and a summary of the key performance indicators. I want it to come up with graphics of the key indicators on the cost centre and also the detail behind it summarised within excel. (usingMicrosoft Excel 2010).
Please send example work so I can see what you would be able to create here.
Attached here is an example of what we currently get.
Each month is a report issued for year to date. The first tab is the summary of all the cost centres. We can then request the detail for the year which has costs in and out, accruals etc. I want to be able to pull the detail out of the detailed pages in an efficient way, using the macro to get it to highlight the key areas.
