I am a trivia night host currently running 2 nights a week with a view to expanding and hiring other hosts for new venues. I have amassed thousands of questions over the years and I am looking to make creating quizzes much easier.
I would like to create a database (most likely in Excel) with fields for:-
QUESTION TYPE (currently there is between 5 and 7 types of questions from multiple choice to 50/50 to true/false etc)
CATEGORY (similar to the 6 categories offered by trivia pursuit)
LAST USED (date and possibly venue)
Once this is completed, I need an easy to use front end to assemble a ready made quiz of 40 questions and 3 jackpot questions using an equal mix of the available categories. Once those questions have been used, they need to be marked and not generated again for a specified period of time (most likely 6 months to a year). The output should be in word format preferably.

Hi there! I love quizzes and created a similar program in Access just for fun, a couple of years ago. Will have to be developed to accept a few of the features you mention, but the basics are already there.
