I have spreadsheets with fields containing various text fields which I upload into quickbooks. The problem is any typo or erroneous extra "space" (Non-breaking-space) will create an undesirable duplicate entry... for instance if I have an account "John Smith" and my data person types it as "Jon Smith" or as "John Smith" (note the extra spaces) I have a duplicate account causing all sorts of confusion.
What I need is something like a macro that will
A)Highlight the error (Can't fix it if I can't see it, and I hate proof reading a 1000 or so entries!!)
B)If at all possible if I mouse over or click on the highlighted field that has the error, could a drop down box be populated of potential correct selections.
From my above example, I click on the box and all the potential items starting with the letter "J" come up
