For a project, I need help from someone who knows MS excel and its macros well.
We have an excel workbook template that we send to our staff to be filled out. In the template we have many rows. In one of our columns, we need to allow users to select from a list of 6,000 plus items.
We need an efficient way to send this template to our staff and have them send it back to us after filling it. Putting 6,000+ items per row in the column is not very efficient. We need a better solution.
The source of this list data should be embedded in the workbook and not hosted somewhere. Preferably, the source would be a column on another sheet in the workbook. If needed, a macro can be used for this, but macros are not preferred - maybe some other solution.
