Materials request register

I'm trying to improve an existing excel spreadsheet which is used as a register for construction materials request. Ideally I would like the spreadsheet to use macros each line entry input is done using a pop up with questions then once its the request is submitted its locked in with a unique number. a) More functional b) Decrease the amount of manual input required C) User friendly D) Provides clear status of each material request I will provide further details as require
