Hope all is well with you. I found your profile after searching Freelancer for jobs similar to the one my organization needs done.
We have an SPSS Syntax file which is designed to feed in baseline survey data (separated into multiple files based on section), produce some variables for analysis, and produce output. We need to convert this Syntax file into a STATA do-file which produces the same output so we can use the same code to generate endline variables. The output would just be used to verify that the do-file constructs variables in the same way as did the syntax file.
The syntax file itself is not overly complicated, and almost every line has some comments explaining what was done (which we would like to also appear in the STATA do-file). It is fairly long, however, at just over 5000 lines.
Could you please let me know:
1.) If you are available/interested in this task.
2.) What you need in order to provide an accurate estimate of how much you would charge for the task; or, if this is enough information, please provide an estimate in terms of time ($15/hour) and/or cost to complete if you would charge a flat rate. (FYI the budget below is just a placeholder for now).
