We have a tumblr site (Removed by Admin), we want to enable comments from users, video posts from users and some sort of Facebook integration.
If we started from scratch does that mean everything has to be hand coded? We would like the site to be scalable if we get to the point of a heavy user base. What is important to us is that it has the look and feel of a scrapbook, also user feedback and the ability for users to submit different types of content (video, stories, pictures, quotes, ect), as well as the ability to share content on social networks like FB. I know Facebook integration is very easy to do.
We like the look of our scrapbook now but we need to to look more like a book and for the user to be able to see more content per page. We would also like ways to navigate through other chapters maybe through tabs or other functions that are attached to new pages and different content. Also we need a search function that can search articles through simple keywords or city and state for relevant content.
How much would this cost? How close could we work together to make input on changes throughout the project? And could we take some existing HTLM/CSS from our Tumblr site now and incorporate into the new project?
