Cherokee Logo Animation – GetAFreelancer Project
We have an existing corporate logo, and we want to create several animations, with the deliverables being in several formats including GIF, JPEG, AVI, MPEG-4 and SWF.
Basically the logo is our company name, which is “Cherokee”, formed using a TrueType font (Arial Black). We then kerned it 15%, and then slightly italicized it, per the attached example.
The final example of what the logo will look like after the animation is shown below. What is happening is the letter O morphs into a crescent shaped object.
Our intents is that it symbolizes a dawn, a sunrise over a horizon.
Here is what we would like to have happen during the animation:
The letter O will grow larger and slightly to the right. It will start shining just like a star that grows, and explodes in a flash. Then as the flash fades, the outer edge of the letter O has become a perfect circle, and has taken the size and position of the outer edge of the final crescent shaped object. Then from that outer edge a second circle slowly shrinks a little bit more, to form the inner "knockout" circle of the crescent. There is a momentary delay, and then a white “twinkle” or flash on the surface of the outer edge of the crescent, at the “1 o'clock” position, somewhat similar to the attached graphic examples.
Finally, the logo is done, and a small “registration symbol” fades in (as opposed to simply appearing suddenly).
This animation will be used on web sites, in PowerPoint presentations, and in other multimedia presentations created in video editing and slideshow presentation programs. That’s why we want various file formats as output “deliverables”.
The background must be transparent, so that we can use the same animation everywhere.
We want the animation with three variations of the solid fill color, including Orange, white, and a metallic bronze. For the orange and white versions, there is a medium blue outline “trap”.
Included in the Deliverable will be all the working files, so that we can make additional modifications in the future.
This is a "work for hire" assignment, and we must own all copyrights.
We envision the entire animation sequence lasting no longer than five seconds, although we are flexible because it shouldn't seem too quick, nor should it be prolonged unnecessarily.
We will provide vector files of the before and after artwork, in Corel Draw 13 (“CDR”), as well as any vector format that Corel can export, as you request.
With your bid, please provide an example of a similar logo animation project that YOU completed.
Additionally, if possible, please also show an example of how you envision our logo animation appearing, pointing to something on the Internet. This second example does NOT have to be something YOU did, but merely a close example of how you would expect this animation to appear when finished. Thank you.
