I need assistance creating a Video chat application for my word press website. I already have the basic framework of it working, but have no actionscript experience. I have Wowza Media Server working, as well as a database set up. I will like to work alongside you to get a firm understanding of how the system works.
This is the basic scenario:
User A Will send a chat request. User B needs to be alerted about the incoming chat request. This will include the name of the user, as well as a picture of the user pulled from the dbase. User B will then approve or Deny the Chat Request, or block the user. If User B approves the chat request, the connection is established. It’s a very straight forward setup.
During the chat session, Users should be able to mute the mic, adjust the mic and speaker volume, as well as block or Report a User.
The Application itself:
- needs to provide both video chat and web chat functionality
-Needs to provide options for HD quality streams and Low quality Streams.
-Will need to have a filter in the text chat portion
-If a user is reported for by another user, we should be able to access his webcam. Also, after being banned for the first time, a user can continue to send chat requests to other users. However, there should be an overlay in the chat request stating that this user has been reported recently.
- Outside of the chat environment we need the ability to keep statistics of all users who report other users for violations, as well as users who get reported. Admins should be alerted immediately of all users who have been reported.
-The interface needs to look crisp and clean. The entire video chat will occur in an overlay, which the user has the ability to minimize.
-Users should be able to receive additional chat requests while already engaged in a chat. They should be able to put a chat on hold, and receive the other chat request.
-Outside of the chat environment, users will be able to look at the history of their chats. I need that information stored and accessible.
I will also need help installing and Configuring Wowza Media server for Amazon EC2 and S3. Please take a look at the attached example.
