I want to be able to animate the route on a map that someone would drive to get from New York to Chicago (for example). This animation could simply be a color overlay moving along the highways to get from point A to point B.
The tricky part with this is I want the map to interact with a text file so that each user travels only the distance they have "earned." For example. On my website my users earn points for performing certain tasks within the website. So if a user earned 100 points I might want the map to show the highway traveled 100 miles. 300 points might show the distance traveled at 300 miles and so on.
I can create the text file to grab on the fly. It's just important that the flash file is programmed to go look for the text file containing that unique visitors data so that each visitor on my website gets a different distance traveled depending on their performance.
