I have a flash navigational header on the site [url removed, login to view] (you have to enter via backdoor at [url removed, login to view] since the site is not live yet) go there and view it. Note there are 2 flash elements on this page, the navigational header and the 'slideshow' under neath it. If you see when you click on a link and go to another page in the site the flash header goes back to 'Loading' and the visual transition of all the buttons and images in the header transition again. It is quite annoying after changing pages a few times. What I want to do is alter it so that after it has loaded the first time it will not transition again, it will just automatically open back to the fully 'loaded' view when a viewer clicks on a link. So when they enter the site the flash header loads and shows the 'Loading' image and then transitions into the actual final view of the header, then when they click on a link to go to the next page, when the page loads the top navigational header starts at the fully 'transitioned/opened/loaded' whatever you want to call it view of the header flash. You do not need to worry about the 'slideshow' flash animation below the header as I am changing that to be static gif or jpeg image on every page except the first page (the index page) of the site.
The second thing I want altered in the navigational header is the 'search' box in the top right hand corner. I want to replace that with either the wimpy mp3 player ( see it in action on [url removed, login to view] ) which is also a swf application that is skinable. There is a skin for it that looks very similar to what I want, I modified the preview image of it and attached it to this project, look for the image linke below or above this (wherever GAF places the files a buyer posts on the project description) I want it to look close to this, but also where it looks like it is seemlessly integrated with the navigation header on my site, so visitors to the site do not think it is patched togther with my site. You, of course, do not have to use the wimplyplayer as the application, but whatever you want to use should do like the wimply player does and allow the site cisitors to scroll through the different songs in the playlist, turn the colume up or down, mute the sound, fast forward or rewind (using the slide bar on the wimplyplayer) and the two LED looking graphic alphanumeric indicators should retreive and display the soung data from the MP3 and display the name of the song playing, the name of the artist, the name of the album, the track number (the numerical location of the song in the playlist) and the minutes and seconds the song is on currently.
These should be simple for someone good with flash. Basicly the project will consist of twp tasks, make the navigational header skip the 'loading' and 'transition' effect on every page after the first page (or every time after is has loaded into the browsers cache the first time), and integrate the wimpyplayer ( [url removed, login to view] ) into the navigational header, replacing the search bar area on the navigational header, and apply a skin to the wimplyplayer that will make it look like the attached image and also blended to look seamlessly integrated into the current design of our sites.
Just to note there are 2 images attached, one is of an actual skin of the wimplyplayer, the other is how I want it changed (really the only change is the 'smashing' or 'shortening' the length of the playlist display from several tracks to just being one display and instead of showing tracks it displays the current songs artists name and album title (that function is already built into the wimpyplayer so there is no recoding of it needed) and obvioulsy whether or not it display the artists name and album title will be totally dependent on whether the MP3 file was authored with that information inlcuded in the file, if the file was not authored with the information inlcuded then the display will just show 'no ifo' or blank or whatever the wimplyplayer displays when the information is unavailable in a given MP3 file.
