Flutter Social Networking App

I’m starting a new social-networking application in Flutter and want to get the entire profile section built first. The goal is to deliver a clean, scalable codebase that plugs into the rest of the app once messaging and a news feed are added later. The profile module must allow users to: • Create and edit a personal profile • Upload and display photos (with basic cropping/compression) • Add or remove friends / followers and show a dynamic count • Write short bios or status updates that render in their profile Please build with Flutter 3.x and null-safety throughout, using Provider or Riverpod for state management (I’m flexible as long as the pattern is consistent). The UI should follow Material 3 guidelines and be prepared for light / dark themes. All text strings need to be externalised for future localisation. Acceptance criteria • Code compiles with no warnings on Android and iOS simulators • Each listed feature works end-to-end with mock data services (REST or Firebase mock ok) • Clear README explaining folder structure, dependencies and how to switch to a real backend Once the profile module is solid, I plan to extend the contract to messaging and a scrolling feed, so clean architecture and thoughtful naming will count.
