Port a DOS Game to Mobile

Looking for a unity developer. Previous game development experience is essential.

1. The Game

The story is going to be very similar to original game; "humans againts monsters". The fundemental game logic will be identical with the original one: creatures will try to hit the hero, hero will try to cut a min percent of the map.

2. The Best Developer, Why You Would Want to Work With Us?


We are aware that, to have the "best" quality, we might need to spare more money for coding. But, we are entrepreneurs, investing in game business for the first time. We will seek to minimize our risk for this first game. Rest assured, once we succeed, we will be choosing you to work with again and invest all the money earned back into game development.

We are not seeing this as a short-term contract. We will spend "significant" marketing money and intend to monetize this game and invest all the money earned again into this game and developing new games. So, we are looking for a good developer with good work ethics.

- Honesty is the first requirement. We will be perfectly honest and transparent with you. If we see any clue of dishonesty, we will end the contract.

- If you are not sure you have the required skills, please do not apply. Do not waste neither your or our time.

- Depending on resulting work, you will be given a small amount of share from the game. And if we succeed with game business, we will strongly consider you to be a shareholder.

3. Detailed Specs for Mobile Version


Original game is 16 levels. Levels have different-looking creatures. All creatures have one or more of these attributes: moving, firing, resizing. Ofcourse speed/logic of movement, shape/count/logic of projectiles, timing etc changes for different creatures.

Mobile version will pretty much have the same game logic. But we will need to make changes to make a more addictive and fun game. So, we will redesign somethings accordingly, whether it be creatures or mobile specific new specialities like in-game coins.

The key differences for the mobile version are;

- No powerups during game play.

- Instead of powerups, player will be able to collect in-game-money during play and use them to purchase powerups or extra life.

- Player will be able to buy in-game-money with real money and by watching video (or another medium of advertisement)

- We will add some variety to creature-attributes set (for example, one creature will be able to restore the map)

- We will populate levels, using already built-in creatures, weapons. (In the original game, one main creature is seen once. We might populate new levels using the same creature)

- We will need a multiplayer play mode

- We will need social integrations

- Target platforms are ios and android.

3. About The Way We Work Together


- You will be given graphics and audio

- You will have clear milestones and efficient product management

- The first milestones will have least amount of payment, to see if we are good to go, while the last milestones will have the majority of the payment
