Task 1: The task 1 was to connect gmail with firebase cloud functions and get the mails. Task one is already solved. Please open a new gmail account of your own and try this codelab. Its simple and works just fine.
Task 2: Task 2 is to get the file from gmail and identify if some attachement is an xml file. If not check if there is a .zip file, open it and get the xml file. You should get the sender info befor the @. in email@example.com. To store the information on the user that send the info.
Task 3: Task 3 is to use a code that I provide to parse the xml file, get some tags and send it to a firestore database.
My idea is to give give every user an inbox on the form user@[login to view URL] so every user think that they have their own domain but they are sending them the information to the same inbox. We identify the different users by getting the information from the email address.
Then get the xml file of each user store the files and then parse the xml information and put it in firebase. I will send the parser code in Nodejs.

Hi With some few changes in the codelab provided you can easily parse an XML file content and store it in a Firestore database. Let's chat about your project. Thanks.
