We are looking for someone to assist us locating de-escalation related grants, writing grant proposals, which will result with us being able to continue our training. National De-escalation Training Centers (NDTRC), a non-profit entity, offers training using the most effective and up-to-date de-escalation training that's available today. We are currently one of the preferred training companies for the Department of Justice and certified with the for most training organization for law enforcement, International Association of Directors of Law Enforcement (IADLEST). We are looking for additional funding to bring this training to as many law enforcement entities, at no cost to them, as possible What is Different About NDTC Training? Without a profit motive, the NDTC can better serve the interests of public sector entities. NDTC is a system that is structured to continually evolve, innovate, adjust, and remain the most advanced and sophisticated training available. It can be used for: • School Resource Officers • Corrections Officers • Law Enforcement Officers • Commercial Entities • Military • Other First Responders NDTC training utilizes best traditional practices; such as those recognized in procedural justice, verbal judo, emotional intelligence, and trauma informed crisis intervention. The training also instructs in body language, and appropriate approaches and distancing based upon active and passive threat states. NDTC training teaches officers to identify personality in seconds so de-escalation can be focused upon an individual’s particular motivations, needs, and anticipated behavioral patterns. NDTC uses the most significant advancement in personality identification - DISC Esoterica®. DISC Esoterica® was developed at the University of South Florida in a program funded by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence and administered by the Defense Intelligence Agency. It has been used in de-escalation and insider threat training since 2015.

Hello, It would be a great pleasure to help find funding for NDTC. What is being done through this non profit is life changing. In past years I have had to find many different ways to learn de escalation techniques. My son is living with ADHD sensory issues and a lack if impulse control. My 5 children and I were living in a recovery home and this is where i had to venture out and learn about de escalation because that is one thing they didnt teach us there. I always have to practice my techniques but being a single mom of 5 can be tense and with the lack of impulse control bouncing around I honestly think that these techniques are the only thing that has gotten us this far. I do apologize for the wordy proposal but what you do is much needed and i would love to somehow be a help to that
