I am looking for a simple app that can be used by pool experts/guys to track chemical usage and cost.
Lite version they can track up to 30 pools for free, access to cost per stop, per month.
Upgraded App they can track unlimited customers, have access to quote a pool, (feature that emails customers their readings, and what should be done) profit and loss per stop, per day of the week and per month, and year.
Please note that pool guys normally service the pools once a week and sometimes 2 or 3 times per week. So some accounts can show up under more than one day for service.
I think only one or two apps are out there so you can look at them.
When users download the app they need to have a button for set up. In the set up they set up the chemical cost and any other set ups that are required.
They also need to have a backup feature so they can backup the database.
Schedule Repairs feature. This will allow users to schedule repairs
Schedule Filter Service feature: This will allow users to schedule filters that need to be cleaned. These should be in a list and calendar.
Notes: There should be a button where you can see the customers notes.
History Feature: where you can see the previous chemical readings and chemicals added.
Repair required button: there should be a feature where you can add a repair that is required and it can be added to your calendar and it can be emailed. This way if it is an employee they can email it to their boss. If it is emailed it should include the account name and address.
Create pool route -Pool Experts need to add contacts/stops. Upload contacts via excel &google
Contact informations should contain the following info
City, State, Zip
Service Day:(Here they should be able to add days of week) more than one
Service Stop #:
Monthly Rate: (dollar format)
Filter Service Rate: (dollar format)
Filter Service Date: (date format)
Next Filter Service: (date format)
Track the following:
Conditioner, Cyanuric Acid
(Once they enter the readings the system should stamp the day and time)
Can users add their own fields?
1. Chlorine (tracked in gallons & lbs)
if tracked in gallons what will happen with the app when the user enters 1/2 for half a gallon, or .50 for half? Can the system be set up to recognize that it is the same?
2. Acid (tracked in gallons &lbs)
3. Tabs (number)
4. Salt (bags)
5. Water Clarifier (oz)
6. Potassium (oz)
7. Algacide (oz)
8. (Total alkalinity chem)
9. Phosphate Treatment (oz)
(Can we allow user to create their own line item)
User should be able to sort them in the order that they like
Once the chemicals added are logged the app should display the total cost of chemicals per stop and per calendar month.
Users should be able to look up accounts by customer name, first or last, day of the week, etc.
Quote a pool feature. This button is used when the pool expert goes to a new customer to offer a quote for service.
Once they enter the readings it creates a report that can be e mailed to the customer. It will have each reading and what it should be at, it will also show what should be done. So for example if the calcium hardness is at 1,000 then it should say, pool should be emptied or partial water replacement is recommended.
Please no placeholder bids, and no standard bids. Please look at the details and look at the apps that are out there so you get an idea of the project. Also please post links to app that you have done so that I can look at them.
