We are a small group of developers who have found that our time is shorter than our income stream and wish to outsource some developments for a particular game, Kerbal Space Program. This addictive indie beta has a LOT of user contributed content in it, however we have been working on a mod that will turn it into amazing game rather than a mere paid beta. The end product is a larger project than we are advertising here to start with (probably a few days as opposed to a few hours) but will be a lot of fun for any graphic / 3d designers who want to bolster their portfolio with something that sounds and looks far more complicated than it is and be able to say that they worked on a cult game like KSP.
Thus we are starting with something small. A Soyuz. If you don't know what this is, please don't bid. I know a lot of people out there are looking for work, but truly, from what I've seen you get a LOT of people saying "$2!!!" then have no clue what you're even asking them to do. Have a glance at [url removed, login to view], grab a copy from thepiratebay to fiddle with, take a peek at [url removed, login to view] and google 'making parts for kerbal space program' and you're set. It's quite a simple task, but it's essential that you have the same vision and expectations of quality that we do before we even consider revealing the secrets of our mod in detail.
As we do not wish to make this a 'contest' with no recompense, I will be personally offering the remuneration you bid from my own pocket, but keep in mind that this is quite literally an hour or two of work, and somewhat of an audition for being hired for the final program. To save you even more time I suggest finding the 'Odin' mod for KSP, it's an orbital system that can be imported and redesigned to be a Soyuz quite easily. All the essential parts are there. So realistically all it is is a re-skin job for now. The end project will involve a fair bit of reskinning, and some coding of game functions within the Unity engine, so unless you're a quick learner that is kind of handy too.
The orbital delivery system is also quite simple, the current KSP mod forum has a thread for a 'Soyuz' that is actually the delivery system, a Vostok. We would like to see it re-skinned, however, so it looks slightly different aesthetically, preferably with 'KKKP' down the side and 'Kostok' written somewhere tastefully, and we'd like to see 'Koyuz' in small but distinct stencil print around the base of the Koyuz capsule itself. Now here comes the tricky part, we require the Zoxygene mod, Electricity mod, MapSat mod, and MechJeb mod to be included in the design. To achieve this (besides grabbing the mods and included them in the end zip file) you will need to create / render five additional parts.
MapSat atennae or small dish (or both if you want extra points so you can pick and choose!)
MechJeb module attachment (lumpy thing down the bottom (right hand side) sticking out of the lower most right hand point (the white thing!)
Zoxygene module, the solar array must be in contact with this, so add it between the Odin RCS and other lower parts, but make it slender enough that 1. it still works / has contact with the solar panels, and 2. it doesn't skew the models shape so you can still reskin and reshape Odin parts for the job.
Electricity module, should also be in contact with the solar panels in the same general location.
Solar panels, for obvious reasons! Short and stumpy.

The above is actually a simplified task, however it incorporates every element directly that we require for the main project, thus it will give us a general idea whether the applicant can achieve what we need them to, except obviously on a larger scale. Good luck, and we hope to let you in on our big project and make an AMAZING game mod together!
