Hello. I am directly a short comedic film in which there will be two “fake” novels that the characters will be reading.
I would like someone to design the book jackets for these books, so that I can make a print of them and put the jackets over other books.
The first book jacket is a parody of teen supernatural books. It will be called “Least Likely To Be Bitten” and it will be written “by Betsy Clark.” I would like the front cover to feature a nerdy high school girl, who is looking longingly at a cool, jock in a letterman jacket, who is also clearly a vampire. This boy will not be looking at the girl. There can perhaps be lockers in the background. The back jacket can just have a simple graphic on it. Anything that relates to high school and vampires. The inside flaps need nothing on them. In the middle of the graphic, the title and author should be written vertically (assuming it will be printed and then folded)
The second book jacket is a mash-up of two different styles: the aforementioned teen supernatural genre mixed with 1940s-esque pulp/crimedetective novels (such as Dashiell Hammett). It will be called “Rare Stake” and it will be written “by Mitch R. Campbell.” I would like the front cover to feature a teen girl holding a wooden stake, and a detective with a cigarette and hat. The back jacket can just have a simple graphic on it. Something that pertains to both worlds. The inside flaps can be blank. In the middle of the graphic, the title and author should be written vertically (assuming it will be printed and then folded)
